About Me
I grew up chasing pheasant with my dad and wish both dad and the pheasant where closer to my current location, cause it’d be nice to re-live some of those times. Now however, I am primarily a duck and quail hunter, while we don’t have an abundance of either in Central Texas we do have access within a couple hours drive to a number of good hunting areas.

Solomon is my upland dog, he’s a mutt, half German Shorthaired Pointer and half American Pointer. He runs like the wind, has a soft mouth and loves quail hunting. He hates rattlesnakes (don’t we all), doesn’t care about cactus quills and will run all day long if you let him. He also likes jumping 6’ fences in a single bound, much to my dismay. Tootsie is my duck hunting partner, she’s a Yellow Labrador Retriever. She’s a real sweetheart and a great duck hunting companion.

My family is very supportive of my passion for bird taxidermy; well they’ve gotten used to now, anyway.
Heres are a few pictures of my girls from a recent fishing trip.

I always bring a camera when hunting or fishing,
and have been fortunate enough to take a few nice shots over the years.
Here are a few of my favorites for your viewing enjoyment.
